It started with a paper punch on demand.

Opto is a small company with customers all over the world, founded in 1985. A special paper punch, Opto Original, was the first product. The punch is patended and it was designed for the new need of punches with different hole patterns in fairly small volumes.

The founder of Opto, Bo Lindberg, is also the designer. Many new products have been designed by him. More paper punches, binders and other office products with the special Scandinavian firm design. All made in aluminium with plastic details.

The design skill has also brought other customers to the company, customers that acknowledge the skill and want a solution to their problems. Therefore the company also works as a subcontractor. The materials involved are also here aluminium and or plastics.
